"Working with Jules was a great experience. Unlike many photographers I have worked with, Jules had lots of creative ideas and a good idea of the look and style she wanted to convey and it helped me a great deal with regards to direction in photography. Furthermore, Jules was clear and polite when she directed my movement so that the time management was efficient for both of us. The hours flew by as it was a lot of fun and we incorporated props. The studio was comfortable and there were no interruptions. I met Jules at a business networking event and immediately struck up a friendship with her – you will find this is easy to do!
I needed a special gift for my husband’s 50th birthday and asked whether Jules would be able to photograph his two lovely daughters. I was slightly anxious about the process as we had very little time to organize the shoot, choose the photograph and have it developed, however Jules was confident she would be able to do this which was a weight off my mind.
The shoot itself was fantastic. Neither of the girls have had their photo’s taken (other than at school) and were both naturally apprehensive at first. However, Jules immediately put them at ease and her friendly and outgoing nature soon made the day one to remember. Working with young adults (the girls are 19 and 23) is something she is obviously very skilled at and they both thought Jules was really ‘cool’.
Her attention to detail is fabulous – from contemporary music playing in the background, through to a handy range of ‘props’, she thinks of everything and this has a really positive effect on the finished article.
I am delighted with the results, the girls look gorgeous, they enjoyed the day and my husband has a present to treasure.......what more could you ask? I would thoroughly recommend Jules to anyone. By having a natural ability to connect easily with people, she manages to put you at ease which, in turn, results in photographs which really reflect your personality and gives them more meaning.
